Manager Risk & Compliance

Randstad is searching for a skilled and accomplished Risk and Compliance Manager who possesses a keen eye for detail and excels in their field. About your new role

The Risk and Compliance Manager will serve as the strategic Subject Matter Expert responsible for bridging technical operations with regulatory governance. Reporting to the Group Manager Business Integrity & Assurance, your focus is on operationalising risk frameworks and embedding robust business controls into our critical processes and infrastructure practices. You will lead the monitoring of legal and regulatory obligations specifically under the Telecommunications Act whilst providing expert advice on incident management, risk assessment workshops and the development of comprehensive assurance registers.

What you will need to exceed

• You will need the ability to develop and implement risk and assurance management registers and plans specifically for telecommunications.
• A strong understanding of government procurement protocols and VPS (Victorian Public Service) guidelines is essential.
• You need a demonstrated ability to work within complex changing environments with multiple stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes.
• Given the nature of the role (initially overlapping with the outgoing manager), flexibility and a high degree of adaptability are essential.
• You will be responsible for developing and implementing operational compliance, risk, and assurance management registers and plans.
• Ensuring all business processes are aligned with the wider corporate risk and compliance frameworks and policies.

Must have

• You must be familiar with the Telecommunications Act and other related Acts
• Experience in working for government
